Lark Hill has been awarded 5* in James Hallidays 2011 Wine Companion - a fantastic result with both wines reviewed receiving 94/100
This follows on the news that Chris Carpenter has been nominated for the 2010 Wine Society Young Winemaker of the Year Award, to be judged later in August. We wish Chris the best of luck!

Spring is imminent, with fragrant early blossom; the daffodils and early crocus are peeping out, and the hills are golden with wattle. The wood ducks are inspecting the dams, the thrush is testing the acoustics around the winery, and the evening frog chorus is enthusiastic if a little short on harmony. We have had a marvellous winter with very good rains, with some dams full for the first time in 10 years, and the prospect of a good season before us.
This time of year we release a selection of new wines to enjoy during the coming warmer months and in the lead up to Christmas holidays and festivities. We understand sometimes life is too busy to get the Cellar Door during our New Release period, so we are offering a 10% case discount on all mail orders placed during September. It is a great time to stock up before the end of year rush. We are showcasing our New Release wines at a 5 course degustation dinner 25th September; join us for an evening of self indulgence at our Vineyard Restaurant and choose your favourite food wine
